The Kóryos Academy Selection Course is a transformative 9-night / 10-day initiatory experience rooted in the Proto-Indo-European Kóryos tradition. Participants undergo structured ordeals, combining wilderness survival, martial training, mythic study, and deep spiritual practice to foster self-knowledge, leadership, and unbreakable brotherhood.
This program embodies the ancient path of young men being initiated into roles as community leaders through hardship, wisdom transmission, and ritual transformation.

- Duration: 9 Nights / 10 Days
- Capacity: 8–12 men
- Dates: Fall 2026
- Tuition: $2,200 – $2,500 sliding scale (includes 24 months KFO membership dues and further development for those selected.) Non-refundable $625 deposit to secure your spot.

The Dagaz Dawn Rite
Every day begins with the Dagaz Dawn Rite — the living heart of this ordeal.
At first light, participants perform:
- Opening prayer and oblation to the Dawn, Wōdenaz, ancestral spirits, and the land.
- Inward contemplation (eyes closed, breath, stillness).
- Outward Utiseta (eyes open, apex-predator awareness — observing the natural world as a living reflection of inner truth).
This practice trains the Odinic eye: the middle threshold of the Dagaz rune where duality is sacrificed — raw wisdom emerges. The external world as the mirror of the inner. See clearly. Become more.

Curriculum Breakdown
Phase 1: Foundations & Stripping (Days 1–3)
Backpacking ingress, camp mastery, bushcraft fundamentals, gear discipline, and ego confrontation.
Phase 2: Myth & Ritual Workshop (Days 4–6)
Deep study of PIE and Norse lore, Kóryos traditions, runes, Galdr, and personal myth-making.
Phase 3: Warrior Training (Days 7–8)
Martial skills, conditioning, historical combat techniques, and ritualized fighting mindset.
Capstone: Spirit Run (Final Night)
Mountain race, summit guardian combat, ritual fire construction and offerings, followed by descent and integration.
Closing: Brotherhood binding, reflection, and issuance of completion tokens.
Commitment Policy
The only option for self-elimination is within the first 48 hours. Once the course has begun in earnest, there is no option to quit. Full commitment is required.
Tuition Note
Program fees serve as KFO membership dues for 24 months. Those who complete the course but do not yet earn full membership in the Koryos Fraternal Order will be noted for future development opportunities under a funded probational period.
